Artist Statement

My art has evolved from the black and white processes of printmaking - etching and lithography - to colorful monoprint, pastel drawings and .... mixed media constructions.  EXPLORING seems to be my mantra these days.   Always an "Ah Ha" moment!
-- Concerned about the way we are treating our natural environment and our personal relationships, I am exploring layers in natural landscapes and human interactions, visually and conceptually. I find the negative spaces (What we don't see) intriguing.

-- Still love teaching - always learning from my students at the same time they are learning from me!
